Itinerary
ITINERARY SUBJECT TO CHANGE WHILE TOURING FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF THE GROUP.
Day 1: Departure from US
On this day you will board your plane for your flight to Tel Aviv.
Day 2: Arrive in Israel
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and travel to The Metropolitan Hotel in Tel Aviv. It is located near the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. There you will check in to your room, have a nice buffet dinner and then relax after your long journey.
Day 3: Caesarea, Megiddo, Mount Carmel
After breakfast you will have some adventures! We will drive to the coastal plain and visit the ancient harbor city of Caesarea Maritima located on the Mediterranean Sea. There we will visit the theatre, share the history and the Biblical events that occurred there. We will walk between the ruins where Peter converted Cornilius and where Paul was jailed for 2 years. After a short stop at the aqua ducts, we will drive to Mount Carmel. We will stand on the eastern edge of Carmel looking on to the Jezraeel Valley and Kishon. We will discuss the prophet Elijah and his confrontation with the prophets of Baal. We will have our lunch break at a Druse Village. You will see and enjoy many minorities with different cultures in the Holy Land. Last we will visit the famous Megiddo site. We will walk amongst the ruins of 22 different civilizations. The water system is 2850 years old. We will visit a beautiful church and special new archaeological site at Magdala and tour the ruins there. To end our day we will check into The Caesar Hotel. We will have dinner and then a walk around the beautiful shores of the Sea of Galilee in the evening as a wonderful way to unwind after our busy day.
Day 4: Galilee
Today after breakfast, you will experience Galilee, the place where Jesus taught and performed most of His miracles. We will enjoy a boat ride from Tiberias to Ginosar. We will see an ancient, 2000 year old boat at The Ginosar Museum. Then on to The Mount of Beatitudes, a tree grows where Jesus stood and spoke. We will share and read the Sermon on the Mount. Next, we will visit Tabgha, the site where Jesus fed the 5000. Then we will marvel at the beauty as we walk along the shore of the Sea of Galilee and to the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. We will have the chance to enjoy a fish lunch at our break. After eating together we will go to Capernaum, the town where Jesus spent most of His time. We will drive on the eastern shores of Galilee and end our day at the Yardenit Baptismal Site on the Jordan River. Here you can choose to be baptized in the same river as our Lord and Savior was. Back to the hotel to enjoy fellowship, swimming and dinner. A Galilee by Night Boat Tour maybe an option.
Day 5: Tel Dan, Caesarea Philippi, Banias Falls
We will travel to the Golan Heights and view the beautiful panorama located there. We will view The Banias Falls, known to be the largest falls and one of the most beautiful and tranquil spots found in the Holy Land. The spring that feeds the falls is located at the base of Mount Hermon. We will visit the ruins of Tel Dan and discover the altar built there by King Jeroboam I, (1 Kings 12:25) and learn about where the “The House of David” fragment from the First Temple Period was discovered. We will see Caesarea Philippi. This site is identified in scripture when Jesus took His 12 disciples to this pagan region and asked them, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” (Matt 16:13). We will end our day back on the shores of Galilee with a wonderful buffet dinner and rest at The Caesar Hotel.
Day 6: Mount Arbel, Cana, Bethlehem, The Shepherd’s Field
After breakfast and check out we will visit The Valley of the Doves and walk the path that Jesus traveled during His many journeys to teach the word of God. From here, we will view Mount Arbel and the many caves that were used to hide the Israelites from the Roman Soldiers. We will continue to view the beautiful countryside from the highest point of Arbel. We will view the areas surrounding Nazareth and enjoy a visit to The Nazareth Village. Next stop is Cana. The site of the first miracle of Jesus at the wedding feast. Bethlehem is our next stop. We will have a break at a Christian Center where you can shop for specialty gifts including many beautiful olive wood carvings commemorating the birth of Christ and His ministry. In Bethlehem we will also see the oldest church in the world, The Church of the Nativity. You will actually be able to touch the spot where Jesus was born. We will sing Silent Night together. We will walk in the Shepherd’s Field, the place where the angels appeared to the shepherds and told them the good news concerning the coming of their Savior. After our busy day we will check in to The Nativity Hotel where we will share dinner and some may want to enjoy quiet time on the garden terrace for reflection and prayer or an optional “Jerusalem By Night Tour” may be available.
Day 7: Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Mount Zion
After enjoying breakfast we will view the very best of the city of Jerusalem, old and new from the top of the Mount of Olives. We will share facts about Jerusalem and why this place was chosen to be The City of God. We will walk down the Palm Sunday path stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept on Jerusalem. Next we will tour the Garden of Gethsemane, The Church of All Nations which houses the Rock of Agony. We will view the Kidron Valley and enjoy the breathtaking scenic walk of The Haas Promenade Ridge, where according to Biblical sources Abraham was shown the site of Mount Moriah to bind his son Isaac. We will have a short break and then on to Mount Zion, The Upper Room, and Dormition Abbey. We will walk to the church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. Located there is the house of the high priest Caiaphas where Peter denied Jesus 3 times and the “First Prison of Christ”, the dungeon where Jesus was held prisoner. We will spend the afternoon touring the very emotional, but educational Holocaust Museum. We will experience Jericho, the oldest, continuously occupied city in the world. We will drive by a Sycamore Tree to view the Old Roman Road from Jerusalem to Jericho and off in the distance we will see the mountain top where Jesus was tempted by Satan. By evening we will end our day back at our “Home away from Home”, The Nativity Hotel to enjoy dinner and a possible walk to the local ice cream shop located nearby.
Day 8: Old City, Wailing Wall, Via Dolorosa
After we share breakfast together you will enjoy the different flavors of the old city of Jerusalem, history, faith, people and cultures. We will enter the old city from Stephen’s Gate visiting St. Anne’s Church and located right beside the church is the Pool of Bethesada where Jesus healed the paralytic. We will tour the Antonia Fortress built by Herod the Great. We will walk the emotional Way of the Cross Via Dolorosa to the Holy Sepulchre Church. We will enjoy a trip through a spice market on an ancient Roman Street dating back 1850 years at The Cardo. Our next stop is The Israeli Museum there we will view the model of Jerusalem. Ending our day at the Wailing Wall, standing on the steps where Jesus preached and seeing an account of Biblical Jerusalem through The Excavation. We will see the Aqsa Mosque located to the south of the Temple Mount. Travel back to our hotel to have dinner and a possible excursion to The David Citadel Museum Sound and Light Show.
Day 9: Petra
After we check out of our hotel we will head south towards the Judean Desert, stopping at zero sea level. Soshi, the camel, will be available for riding and for photo options. We will stop by Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. We will climb high up into a cave to marvel at the breathtaking view of the surrounding desert. Next we will experience our cable car ride up to Masada, Herod the Great’s Mountain Top Fortress overlooking the Dead Sea. Then on to the Jordanian Border. After our crossing, we will stop along the way to view the breathtaking views of the Arabian Desert. We will catch a beautiful sunset as we travel on to The Movenpick Hotel located in the Valley of Moses, Wadi Musa. Our hotel is just steps away from the gates of Petra. After check in we will enjoy a wonderful dinner together.
Day 10: Petra
Today our journey will begin at Petra, known as one of The Seven Wonders of The World. We will walk along the canyon or some may prefer to rent a horse drawn carriage, to take them to the first stop, The Treasury. We will marvel at the amazing sites and craftsmanship recorded here. Many may continue to the top to view the Monastery, either by walking or by renting a donkey, the view at the top is well worth it!
Day 11: Dead Sea
After check out, we will travel back to The Holy Land passing by the Red Sea. We will check in at David Dead Sea Resort and Spa located near the shores of the healing, mineral waters of the Dead Sea. We will enjoy a wonderful buffet dinner and the nightly entertainment provided there.
Day 12: Dead Sea
We will have a free day to relax and enjoy a float in the water of the Dead Sea. You can choose to use the indoor salt water pools, outdoor pools or enjoy the beach located just minutes from your hotel. Spa services are also offered. We will enjoy another wonderful dinner and reflect on our journey as this will be our last night in The Holy Land.
Day 13: Golgotha, Garden Tomb, Tent Restaurant
After our check out we will travel back up to The Holy City of Jerusalem. On to Golgotha, the place of the skull, and then finally, to the very heart touching and beautiful Garden Tomb, “For He is not here, He Is Risen”. We will share communion together there. Our final stop is at the Tent BBQ Restaurant where we will share our farewell dinner and last meal together in the Holy Land, (compliments of Life Journey Tours). Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv for flight check in.
Your Journey in the Bible Land ends here but a new Journey will start in your heart now after you have lived and walked in the footsteps of Jesus.

Travel Tips
Make sure your passport is not about to expire. They get nervous if you are close, within 6 months to expiration.
Make copies of your passports and your flight information.
Make copies of your credit cards, front and back. In the event they are lost or stolen, all of your contact and account information will be available to you. Keep these copies in your luggage.
Contact your credit card companies of your upcoming international travel dates.
Inquire with your cell phone carrier as to the procedure to allow your cell phone to work in Israel and to call home to the USA. Wi-Fi is available in our bus and at our hotels. Downloading Whats App to your smart phone allows you to text and call home.
American money, Master Card and Visa is accepted for shopping and for lunches. Discover Card and American Express are not always accepted.
You will need an electrical converter in order to charge your phones, camera’s etc.
Hair dryers are available in our hotel rooms.
Clothing
Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing for our flight. Shoes that are easy to remove.
Make sure you have all of your medications, hygiene items (under 4 ounces and in a quart sized zip lock bag), pajamas, swimming suit, water shoes and a couple of extra changes of clothing in your carry- on bag. Medications to consider bringing would be: Dramamine for motion sickness, Imodium, Ibuprofen, and baby aspirin for the flight. Sun screen & Band-aids are also recommended. Carry- on luggage dimensions are as follows 9x14x22. The first checked bag is free and can weigh up to 50 pounds or 23 kilo grams.
Bring comfortable walking shoes and light weight clothing as it will be warm. A travel umbrella in case of rain and a sun hat are recommended. Capri pants and long shorts (to the knee) are acceptable. Sleeveless tops are ok but always have a shawl to cover your shoulders. This is a sign of respect and required at most of the churches we will visit.
Bring a swim suit and water shoes as we will have time to swim at our hotel and enjoy the Dead Sea. You will also need swim wear if you want to be baptized in the Jordan River. You will need to rent a baptismal gown and towel for $10.00 if you decide to do this. I did and it was amazing!!!!

This is an amazing outdoor show played on the walls of the Temple, we receive VIP Seating!!!
Jerusalem By Night Tour-$35.00 per person
If you decide to do these optional tours, I would ask that you set aside the correct amount of cash to pay for them as I always don’t have change. They do not accept Credit cards for these tours.
Excursion To Petra, Jordan
The Visa cost of $35.00 to enter Petra is included in your tour package.
The entrance fee to return back into Israel is not.
Please have $20.00 per person ready to give me.
We also recommend that you leave your large luggage and any purchases you may have made on the secured, locked bus in Israel. Please have your carry on sized luggage prepared with your medicine, clothing, personal hygiene items, etc. to take into Jordan for the 2 nights we will spend there. This will help make the border crossing easier and more enjoyable.
Gratuities
All tips to the dining rooms in our hotels for our breakfast and dinner, the luggage handlers and housekeeping is included in your tour package price.
You will see that our Tour Guide and Driver work very hard for us. I would ask that you would offer them a token of your appreciation. Towards the end of our journey together I will pass an envelope around and would encourage you to give accordingly, from your heart as God loves a cheerful giver!!!

Please carry a copy of this accommodations list with you, as well as a copies of your passport, flight info, and credit cards (front & back). Please leave another copy of all at home with a friend or family member.
Travel Tips
Make sure your passport is not about to expire. They get nervous if you are close, within 6 months to expiration.
Make copies of your passports and your flight information.
Make copies of your credit cards, front and back. In the event they are lost or stolen, all of your contact and account information will be available to you. Keep these copies in your luggage.
Contact your credit card companies of your upcoming international travel dates.
Inquire with your cell phone carrier as to the procedure to allow your cell phone to work in Israel and to call home to the USA. Wi-Fi is available in our bus and at our hotels. Downloading Whats App to your smart phone allows you to text and call home.
American money, Master Card and Visa is accepted for shopping and for lunches. Discover Card and American Express are not always accepted.
You will need an electrical converter in order to charge your phones, camera’s etc.
Hair dryers are available in our hotel rooms.
Clothing
Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing for our flight. Shoes that are easy to remove.
Make sure you have all of your medications, hygiene items (under 4 ounces and in a quart sized zip lock bag), pajamas, swimming suit, water shoes and a couple of extra changes of clothing in your carry- on bag. Medications to consider bringing would be: Dramamine for motion sickness, Imodium, Ibuprofen, and baby aspirin for the flight. Sun screen & Band-aids are also recommended. Carry- on luggage dimensions are as follows 9x14x22. The first checked bag is free and can weigh up to 50 pounds or 23 kilo grams.
Bring comfortable walking shoes and light weight clothing as it will be warm. A travel umbrella in case of rain and a sun hat are recommended. Capri pants and long shorts (to the knee) are acceptable. Sleeveless tops are ok but always have a shawl to cover your shoulders. This is a sign of respect and required at most of the churches we will visit.
Bring a swim suit and water shoes as we will have time to swim at our hotel and enjoy the Dead Sea. You will also need swim wear if you want to be baptized in the Jordan River. You will need to rent a baptismal gown and towel for $10.00 if you decide to do this. I did and it was amazing!!!!

This is an amazing outdoor show played on the walls of the Temple, we receive VIP Seating!!!
Jerusalem By Night Tour-$35.00 per person
If you decide to do these optional tours, I would ask that you set aside the correct amount of cash to pay for them as I always don’t have change. They do not accept Credit cards for these tours.
Excursion To Petra, Jordan
The Visa cost of $35.00 to enter Petra is included in your tour package.
The entrance fee to return back into Israel is not.
Please have $20.00 per person ready to give me.
We also recommend that you leave your large luggage and any purchases you may have made on the secured, locked bus in Israel. Please have your carry on sized luggage prepared with your medicine, clothing, personal hygiene items, etc. to take into Jordan for the 2 nights we will spend there. This will help make the border crossing easier and more enjoyable.
Gratuities
All tips to the dining rooms in our hotels for our breakfast and dinner, the luggage handlers and housekeeping is included in your tour package price.
You will see that our Tour Guide and Driver work very hard for us. I would ask that you would offer them a token of your appreciation. Towards the end of our journey together I will pass an envelope around and would encourage you to give accordingly, from your heart as God loves a cheerful giver!!!
